Concrete Block Corner Construction Mexico Afternoon

Reflected light from the nearby water washes over a corner of red clay blocks laid in a half-bond pattern. Two metal buckets filled with gray grout sit on the damp earth beside the rising wall. Thin white mason lines stretch taut from the foreground back toward a stationary mixer stand. Fine clouds of sawdust and concrete dust drift through the air, catching the golden late afternoon sun. The ground shows patches of wet soil and scattered debris. A layer of grout texture covers the block edges, while the water reflection creates a shimmering haze in the background. The corner edge aligns perfectly with the horizontal lines of the masonry.
