Morning Haze Concrete Block Corner Melbourne Construction

Grey concrete blocks form a rigid corner where half-bond starts define the masonry work. Wet mud coats the access road, reflecting the low sun that strikes the horizon haze in soft, pale light. Grout buckets sit beside the stack, their surfaces slick with early spring moisture. Mason lines stretch taut from the corner, running back toward a distant mixer stand that fades into the atmospheric mist. The raw materials hold the visible weight of the weather, with water beading on block edges and darkening the soil. Converging lines guide the eye along the wet path, ending at the faint outline of the mixer against the glowing horizon. A thin shadow falls across the corner of the lowest block.
