Dew Drops on Moss After Dawn Rain

Pale green moss carpets a surface, its tiny fronds heavy with spherical water droplets left by recent rain. Soft, diffused light bounces off pale indoor walls to illuminate the scene without harsh shadows. Each drop acts as a miniature lens, distorting the texture of the moss beneath while reflecting the muted gray of the dawn sky. The background remains sharp, revealing the rough grain of the wall and the edge of a window frame, while the foreground moss blurs into a soft, verdant haze. The droplets rest on the very tips of the moss, their surfaces perfectly smooth and clear against the dry, textured plant matter of the dry season. One drop at the edge of the frame catches a faint highlight from the window, anchoring the view in its microscopic scale.
