Children Catch Fireflies Jars Tegucigalpa

Gray, diffused light falls across a muddy riverbank in Tegucigalpa where children sprint with mason jars. They wear simple, damp clothing while gripping glass containers, eyes locked on the air with fierce determination. The ground beneath their feet is wet and churned by movement. Above them, a perfectly clear blue sky contrasts sharply with the overcast illumination. Green river trees line the edge of the water. The children run along the wet earth, searching for faint glowing specks. One jar in the foreground reflects the gray clouds and the green of the river trees.
