Bicycle Umbrella Trails on Tegucigalpa Causeway
Cool blue twilight washes the wind-open causeway near Tegucigalpa as city lights begin to glow in the distance. Long exposure turns moving bicycles and umbrellas into streaks of white and yellow light against the darkening asphalt. Heat haze shimmers above the road surface, blurring the horizon where the dry season air meets the fading sky. Riders lean forward into the wind, their silhouettes merging into continuous lines of motion. The wet pavement reflects the soft glow of distant streetlamps, creating a mirror effect that stretches along the path. A final streak of white light from a bicycle wheel cuts sharply across the lower right corner, at the base of the motion in the tangible road.
