Vibrant chartreuse moss clusters against a rough slate grey masonry surface inside a restored Beijing train terminal. Broad skylight floods the space, bouncing off pale walls to illuminate the organic texture of the plant life. Condensation beads form a delicate network on nearby glass panes, catching the late afternoon sun. The composition features generous negative space that isolates the color study, creating playful visual ambiguity between the stone and the living growth. Shadows stretch softly across the textured wall, defining the depth of the moss patches. A drop of water rests on the glass edge, refracting the muted grey tones of the surrounding architecture.
