Castle Keep Window Framing Distant Mountains

Bright late afternoon light floods a ribbed concrete lobby in Russeifa, illuminating the rough, gray texture of the structural ribs. A narrow window cut into the thick masonry creates a perfect symmetrical frame, isolating a view of distant mountains. Low-hanging clouds drift across the pale sky, softening the horizon line against the rugged peaks. The interior walls cast deep, sharp shadows that emphasize the depth of the window recess. Outside, the late summer air holds a stillness, while the interior concrete remains cool and solid. at the edge is the thin, dark silhouette of the window edge cutting a precise line across the soft, cloudy sky.
