Winter Solstice Bonfire Hands Warmth Night Sky Nicaragua

Orange flames leap upward from a ring of stones, illuminating two hands held close together against the deep blue of a winter night. Thin clouds drift across a star-studded sky, allowing patches of cold moonlight to wash over the dry earth. The firelight casts dancing shadows on the rough bark of a nearby tree trunk, creating a frame around the glowing hands. Wind whips loose strands of hair and sends sparks spiraling into the darkness. Ash falls slowly onto the charred ground, against the bright, warm core of the fire. One ember glows bright red before fading into the cool air.
