Camel Caravan Frozen in Blue Hour Nevada Wheat

Cool blue twilight washes over a Nevada wheat field where a line of camels stands motionless. Their bodies bear patches of white frost or dried mud, catching the dim light against the golden stalks. Above, massive stacked clouds dominate the sky, heavy and layered in shades of indigo and slate. The impossible stillness freezes several small rocks and clumps of chaff in mid-air, suspended perfectly at various heights around the animals. The camels' fur looks coarse and textured, against the smooth, flat surface of the frozen debris hovering beside their legs. One clump of wheat rests inches from a camel's muzzle, defying gravity while the rest of the world remains static. The horizon line cuts sharply through the darkening field, at the base of the surreal suspension in the vast, empty landscape.
