Cold moonlight washes a wind-scoured ridge in British Columbia, illuminating a sleeping container port below. A sharp crescent moon hangs high in the deep night sky, casting pale blue shadows across the steel cranes that stand motionless against the horizon. Late autumn air leaves the landscape bare and dry, stripping trees of color while frost hints at the ground near the crane bases. The massive metal structures rest in silence, their lattice frames stark against the dark water. Below, shipping containers stack in rigid rows, their red and blue surfaces reflecting the faint lunar glow. The wind-swept ridge rises steeply in the foreground, its dry grasses bent low, framing the industrial stillness of the port under the vast, unbroken night.
