Orange low-angle sunlight strikes the weathered stone facade of a Baroque church, illuminating sculpted saints standing within deep arched niches. The heavy overcast sky above diffuses the ambient light, creating a soft, mysterious glow against the warm highlights on the masonry. Rows of lanterns line the temple precinct, their glass panes reflecting the fading day. Wet pavement mirrors the architectural forms, doubling the image of the saints and the lanterns in a symmetrical composition.
