Axolotl Floating in Glacial Stream Fog

Soft morning light reflects off the surface of a clear, glacial stream near Rimini, illuminating a pink axolotl suspended in the water. The amphibian's feathery external gills fan out in delicate pink plumes against the pale blue-grey current. A thin layer of light fog hovers just above the stream, blurring the distant riverbank and creating a hazy backdrop. The water remains perfectly still, holding the creature in a moment of patient, predatory silence. Fine details of the axolotl's skin texture and the translucent tips of its gills stand out sharply against the soft, out-of-focus background. One ripples spreads gently from the creature's position.
