Aleppo Zikr Ceremony Under Street Lamp Glow
Deep orange light from distant street lamps spills across a theater stage in Aleppo, illuminating a circle of musicians and chanters during a Sufi zikr ceremony. The performers wear traditional robes in earthy tones, their faces turned inward in concentration. Behind them, heavy velvet curtains hang in deep folds, partially obscured by a thin layer of stage haze that catches the ambient glow.
