Abalone Shell Interior Macro Tucson Metal

Iridescent swirls of teal, violet, and pearl white dominate the tight frame of an abalone shell's interior surface. The nacreous layers ripple with a smooth, wet appearance, catching soft highlights from indirect afternoon light bouncing off pale walls. Beneath the shell, a weathered metal surface spans the background, dotted with tiny, distinct raindrops that refract the ambient glow. The metal shows faint oxidation and a dull sheen, against the shell's glossy depth. A few droplets rest on the shell's curved edge, resting on the polished curve where the light catches a sharp, silver rim. The composition emphasizes the tactile difference between the organic, layered nacre and the industrial, beaded metal beneath.
