Dark stone arches rise from the water in Larache, their forms stark against the fading twilight sky. Water drips steadily from the curved masonry, catching the last light as tiny suspended beads before splashing onto the mossy undercroft below. Ferns rest on the damp, weathered rock surfaces, their fronds flattened by the heavy winter drizzle. The low angle emphasizes the massive scale of the bridge pier, casting long shadows across the wet stones. Moving water churns beneath the structure, reflecting the dim gray sky. one drop of water hangs from the lowest point of the arch, trembling in the stillness before falling into the dark current.
