Deep indigo twilight settles over the concrete canal lock chamber in Ningbo, where a specialized wind farm control room stands with engineered clarity. Three large digital screens mounted on the wall glow with bright blue and amber data, displaying turbine status grids against the dimming sky. Mist and fine water spray hang suspended above the wet concrete floor, catching the reflected light from the dark water below. The rigid geometry of the control booth contrasts with the soft, drifting vapor. Orange safety lights cast sharp reflections on the slick surfaces, while the screens' glow illuminates the dust particles in the air. One cable runs along the base of the wall, ending in a heavy metal connector resting on the gray floor.
