Wild Yak in Golden Hour Near Puebla

Honeyed evening light washes over a rugged landscape where a wild yak stands in profile. Thick, dark fur catches the warm glow of the setting sun, highlighting the coarse texture of its coat against the cool season air. Dramatic clouds stack high in the background, their undersides deepening to charcoal while the tops remain illuminated. The animal occupies the right third of the frame, its heavy hooves planted on dry, scrubby earth. Shadows stretch long across the ground, showing the low angle of the sun. A faint dust motes hang in the air near the yak's snout, catching the light. at the edge is the sharp, dark outline of the yak's horn against the fading sky.
