Vietnamese Farmer in Rice Paddy After Rain

Soft afternoon light falls through clouds following a recent storm, illuminating a flooded rice paddy where a farmer stands knee-deep in muddy water. The darkened earth forms deep, water-filled ruts that reflect the overcast sky. Wooden vineyard trellises line the field's edge, their weathered posts standing in rows. The farmer, wearing a conical hat, bends slightly while working the submerged soil. Green rice shoots emerge in scattered clusters from the brown mud. Puddles ripple gently around the worker's legs, distorting the reflection of the trellis poles. The ground remains saturated, with water pooling in the furrows between the planted rows, creating a textured surface of dark earth and shallow water.
