Golden firelight from a glowing furnace illuminates the rough stone floor of a prayer hall near Lisbon. A glassblower manipulates a bright orange rod of molten glass, the heat casting long, dancing shadows against white plaster walls. The room features high arches and intricate tile patterns typical of Portuguese architecture, creating a frame within a frame around the workshop activity. Dust motes float in the sunset beams that stream through a high window, highlighting the texture of the worker's protective leather apron and the smooth, cooling surface of the glass vessel. The contrast between the ancient sacred space and the industrial craft is stark, with the warm glow of the fire reflecting off the polished stone tiles and the dark wooden beams overhead.
