Deep shadow blankets the layered foothills in West Bengal, where a vivid turquoise lagoon sits like a polished gem within a coral atoll structure. Early evening light carves a sharp rim along the distant ridges, separating the dark foreground from the soft, hazy horizon. The water remains still, reflecting the pale sky without a ripple. Textures shift from the rough, shadowed earth of the near slopes to the smooth, glassy surface of the lagoon. A low haze lingers at the base of the far hills, blurring the line between water and land. The edge of a jagged rock formation in the immediate foreground anchors the view against the receding layers of the landscape.
