Dappled sunlight falls through broad green leaves, casting irregular patches of brightness across a turquoise lagoon. A thin layer of fog hovers low over the surface, softening the distant shoreline while the foreground branches remain sharp and detailed. The coral reef creates a jagged white line separating the calm lagoon from the rougher ocean beyond. Overhead shadows dance across the water, revealing the texture of the submerged sand and the scattered rocks beneath the clear surface. The composition layers the leafy frame against the vast open water, showing the distance between the observer and the horizon. One leaf tip rests on the water's surface, creating a tiny ripple that distorts the reflection of the sky above.
