Tunisian Roman Ruin Aerial View at Dawn

Pale gray clouds blanket the sky above a sprawling Roman amphitheater ruin in Tunisia, visible from a high vantage point. The stone structure sits within an abandoned ceremonial court, its curved walls worn smooth by centuries of wind. Low sun breaks through the heavy overcast near the horizon, casting a thin band of warm light across distant haze. Green vegetation creeps over the fractured masonry, reclaiming the ancient stone with creeping vines and small shrubs. Leading lines formed by the remaining arches guide the view toward the center of the arena. Dust settles on the uneven floor, while the texture of weathered limestone contrasts with the soft, spreading foliage in the late summer heat.
