First light after rain falls through the high, arched window of a traditional Tunisian hammam, illuminating a wet stone basin where water pools around a cluster of clay pots. The rough, porous texture of the terracotta contrasts sharply with the smooth, dark basalt of the basin, while droplets rest on the rim of a nearby ceramic pitcher. In the background, the curved arches of the vaulted ceiling recede into shadow, proving the location through their distinctive horseshoe shape and the intricate zellige tilework that lines the lower walls. One drop of water slides down the glazed side of a blue-tiled column, catching the pale morning light before falling into the stillness below.
