Suspended Orbs Over Ruda Slaska Dam

Giant, translucent spheres hang motionless in the winter sky above a concrete spillway in Ruda Śląska. The tea-colored river foam churns violently beneath a metal walkway, against the stillness of the floating objects. Late afternoon light cuts through dramatic, heavy clouds, casting sharp shadows across the wet stone and rusted railings. The low angle emphasizes the scale of the infrastructure against the impossible ceiling of orbs. Frost coats the metal grating, while the water rushes in a thick, muddy stream. One orange sphere reflects the gray sky on its curved surface.
