Vibrant shards of amber, cobalt, and crimson glass fragment the late afternoon sun, casting geometric pools of color across the rough-hewn limestone floor of the Elche train terminal. The north-facing window floods the space with cool, directional sidelight that contrasts against the warm, deep shadows pooling in the room's corners. Early spring clarity illuminates the dust motes suspended in the air, highlighting the textured grain of the aged stone beneath the luminous patterns. Smooth metal railings stand in sharp relief against the soft glow, while the interlocking shapes of the colored panes create a mosaic of light that stretches across the masonry surface. One ray of blue glass rests against the base of a weathered pillar, defining the edge of the shadow.
