Soft overcast light fills the vast interior of the restored train terminal near Cabinda, illuminating a geometric tessellated floor that dominates the foreground. The mosaic features repeating squares of terracotta, limestone, and charcoal stone arranged in a precise grid that stretches toward the distant structural pillars. Clean surfaces reflect the pale morning sky without glare, showing the sharp edges where each stone tile meets the next. The dry season air leaves the floor dust-free, revealing the subtle variations in the natural stone texture. A faint shadow falls across the lower right corner, marking the boundary between the mosaic and the smooth concrete baseboard. The pattern creates a rhythmic visual path that runs into the quiet, empty hall.
