Stacked Dim Sum Steamers on Bakery Rack

Three bamboo dim sum steamers stack vertically atop the wire grid of a metal bakery cooling rack. The woven bamboo texture of each steamer shows wear and oil stains, while the white porcelain plates inside hold dumplings wrapped in translucent dough. Honey-colored light from a nearby window spills across the scene, turning the metal wires into glowing copper lines. Early spring daylight falls through the glass, illuminating steam rising gently from the top steamer. Polished surfaces on the porcelain plates catch small, sharp highlights where the light strikes directly. The dumplings rest in neat rows, their pleated edges distinct against the warm, amber tones of the room. A faint shadow falls across the lower rack bars, at the base of the stack in the bakery space.
