Dim Sum Vendor Stacking Steamers at Hong Kong Dawn

Pale silver dawn light falls through light fog, settling on a textile trader's stall in Causeway Bay. A dim sum vendor stacks cylindrical bamboo steamers beside bolts of colorful fabric. The steamers show worn rings and stains from years of use, resting against the vibrant textiles. The vendor wears a simple apron, the fabric appearing slightly damp from the early morning air. Soft shadows stretch across the concrete floor under the diffused illumination. A blurred bolt of silk hangs in the immediate foreground, partially obscuring the view and creating layers of depth. The steamers sit in neat columns, their bamboo texture rough against the smooth, folded silk nearby. At the edge of the frame, the steam rises faintly from the topmost steamer.
