North-window light streams from the left, carving sharp shadows across the glossy skin of siu mai and the pleated folds of har gow. Muted reflections of the food stack ripple across the polished floor below, mirroring the autumn harvest of flavors. The textures range from the crinkled parchment paper lining the trays to the translucent, jelly-like wrappers of the shrimp dumplings. one drop of soy sauce glistens on the rim of a small dipping bowl.
