Heavy grey clouds press low over Waterloo as rain slicks the asphalt beneath a flickering underpass light. The pay-and-display machine stands in stark silhouette against the dim blue evening glow, its screen shattered into jagged fragments. Water droplets rest on the metal casing, while streaks of moisture blur the digital interface into indistinct shapes. A foreground railing runs across the bottom of the view, catching the rain and softening the sharp edges of the machine. The broken glass catches the faint light, creating a rough texture against the smooth, wet pavement. Rain falls steadily across the scene, showing the isolation of the device.
