Silage Inoculant Stand at Syrian Stockyard Sunset

Heavy overcast skies cast a flat, gray light over a damp concrete loading ramp at a Syrian stockyard. A plastic jug stand holds several translucent bottles of silage inoculant, their labels worn and faded by exposure. Straw drifts in loose, tangled mounds along the concrete edges, dampened by recent moisture. The concrete surface shows deep cracks and dark stains from years of use. Late autumn air hangs heavy, but the visual evidence remains strictly in the wet ground and the dull, industrial plastic of the bottles. The stand sits slightly off-center, its legs sinking into the uneven pavement. Shadows are soft and indistinct under the cloud cover, blending the bottles into the gray background. A small puddle near the base reflects the dull sky.
