Soft, diffused light from the early afternoon rainy season settles over a remote Kenyan ferry crossing, turning the vast expanse of Lake Victoria into a deep, saturated cobalt. A white passenger ferry cuts through the water, leaving a churning V-shaped wake that contrasts sharply with the glassy surface. Light drizzle creates a fine, shimmering texture across the lake, while the vessel's hull reflects the gray sky above. The water ripples outward in concentric rings, breaking the mirrored composition. Along the stern, the turbulent white foam slowly dissolves into the dark blue, marking the path of the boat against the stillness of the wet air.
