Senegal Sand Spit Turquoise Lagoon Aerial View

Hard coastal glare strikes a slender sand spit jutting into a vibrant turquoise lagoon in Senegal. The light fog softens the horizon where the sand meets the water, creating a hazy boundary. Wind-sculpted ridges etch fine, parallel lines across the pale beige surface, revealing the direction of the breeze. The lagoon water shifts from deep teal at the edges to bright aquamarine near the sandbar. No vegetation breaks the smooth expanse of the beach, showing the wind-carved solitude of the turn of seasons. One shadow from a small dune ridge falls sharply across the wet sand near the waterline, marking the late afternoon angle of the sun.
