Sand Spit in Turquoise Lagoon Mist

Dappled sunlight falls through overhead leaves, casting shifting patterns of gold and shadow across a narrow sand spit extending into a calm turquoise lagoon. The wide valley floor of Liguria stretches beneath a thick, low-hanging mist that softens the distant tree line. Late summer heat remains trapped in the still water, while the sand retains a pale, dry texture against the cool blue. Ferns and low shrubs frame the left edge, their green hues deepening in the shade. The water surface mirrors the pale sky above, broken only by the gentle curve of the shoreline. One fallen leaf rests on the wet sand near the water's edge.
