Bright midmorning sunlight floods the outdoor stage, bouncing off the white canvas backdrop and silver metal truss system. A Gaelic singer stands center frame, mouth open in song, wearing a dark wool sweater and loose trousers. Dust motes drift visibly through the sunbeams, catching the light against the blue sky. The low angle shot emphasizes the height of the truss above and the performer's presence against the open horizon. Behind the singer, blurred figures of an audience sit on grass, their faces turned upward. The late summer air hangs still, marked only by the floating particles and the rigid geometry of the stage structure. The singer's hands gesture slightly near the chest, fingers spread against the rough fabric of the sleeve.
