Scottish Floodplain Mist in Blue Hour Twilight
Cool blue twilight washes over a wide Scottish floodplain where ground fog pools deeply in the low valleys. The air holds the damp chill of early winter, evidenced by the bare, brown grasses and the heavy, still mist clinging to the waterlogged earth. In the distance, scattered city lights begin to glow with a soft, warm orange against the encroaching darkness, creating small islands of illumination on the horizon. From this high vantage point, the landscape stretches out in layers of grey and silver, with the fog obscuring the lower ground while the higher ridges remain visible. The surface of the flooded fields reflects the dim sky, creating a seamless transition between water and atmosphere. A thin line of streetlights marks the edge of a distant settlement, their glow fading into the mist.
