Snowy Plateau Dawn Floodplain Sapporo Reflections

Pale winter light breaks across a frozen floodplain near Sapporo, illuminating pockets of fresh snow against deep blue shadows. The ground lies flat and wet, mirroring the stark, clear sky above in a perfect inverted plane. Rim light traces the edges of the snowdrifts, creating sharp white highlights that contrast with the cool, indigo tones of the polar night. No roads or paths cut through the landscape; only the undisturbed snow and water remain. The horizon line blends seamlessly with its reflection, doubling the vastness of the open space. One patch of ice near the foreground catches the first hint of gold from the rising sun.
