Scaffolding Wraps Historic Building Near Izmir

Rusted steel poles form a dense grid against the weathered stone facade of a historic structure under Izmir gantries. Late afternoon light reflects off the nearby water, casting a shimmering metallic haze across the scene. The monsoon season hangs heavy in the air, visible as a thin layer of moisture clinging to the metal joints and darkening the stone. Symmetrical scaffolding lines rise in perfect parallel, framing the building's aged windows and arched doorways. Workers in heavy gear move along the narrow platforms, their movements deliberate against the industrial backdrop. The wet ground mirrors the overhead utility towers, while the stone texture beneath the rusted bars shows decades of wear.
