Cold silver light spills across a vast salt basin carved into the wave-cut shoreline of Bahia. Thin dawn haze softens the horizon where the water meets the sky under heavy overcast clouds. The basin surface displays intricate, sharp textures formed by wind and evaporation, creating a mosaic of white and pale gray patterns that extend endlessly. The still air holds the scene in a suspended state, showing the solitude of the landscape. Wet crusts glisten faintly against the matte dry salt, while the gray sky reflects directly onto the shallow pools. A fine line of sea foam marks the boundary between the basin and the ocean in the distance.
