Rusty Rake Head in Hobart

A weathered wooden rake head rests against the damp, grey stone wall of a Hobart terrace garden at misty dawn. Thin tendrils of fog rest on the rusted tines, softening the harsh edges of the metal against the rough masonry. Beside the tool, a patch of dormant native grasses bows under the weight of heavy, invisible moisture from the night. The pale, diffused light reveals the texture of the iron and the moss growing in the crevices of the wall.
