A wooden rake head rests against the weathered gray stone wall of a historic building in Quebec City. Cool morning mist rests on the cobblestones below, softening the edges of the rough-hewn timber. The metal tines catch the faint, diffuse light, revealing patches of rust and dried mud from recent use. One drop of condensation hangs from the curved tip of the lowest tine.
