Bright noon light flattens shadows across a construction site where a crew unrolls black roofing membrane along a flat parapet. The workers, clad in practical workwear, lean into the heavy roll, their movements urgent against the unfinished concrete edge. Blue and white scaffolding towers beside the building, its metal poles and wooden planks creating a geometric cage around the work zone. Low-hanging gray clouds hover above, diffusing the harsh sun just enough to soften the glare on the exposed surfaces. Dust settles on the dry ground below, while the black material stretches taut, its matte texture against the rough gray of the concrete. The perspective looks up from near the ground, showing the height of the scaffold and the scale of the building facade.
