Hard open daylight strikes a large traffic-signal conduit reel resting on a weathered timber platform. The reel stands near a scaffolded facade in Ningbo, where early winter light casts sharp shadows across exposed rebar and dusty ground. A scaffolded wall rises behind the equipment, its metal poles supporting sheets of gray tarp that flutter at the edges under the site wind. Strips of orange caution tape hang loosely between structural members, fluttering in the breeze. Dust motes hang suspended in the air above the rough concrete surface. The perspective looks up from the ground, showing the height of the scaffolding against the bright sky. A frayed edge of blue caution tape rests against a rusted metal bracket at the base.
