Rhode Island Allotment Plots Dawn Fog Aerial View

Midsummer morning light breaks over a grid of rectangular allotment plots in Rhode Island, viewed from directly above. Deep shadows fill the furrows between raised beds while a thin rim of pale gold illuminates the wet soil edges. Ground fog rests on the low valleys between the plots, softening the boundaries of the garden rows into misty gray shapes. The damp earth reflects the cool sky, creating a muted palette of slate, olive, and charcoal. Thin lines of irrigation tubing snake across the dark surfaces, marking the organized layout.
