Reed House Inside Alanya Concrete Lobby

Bright tropical light fills the ribbed concrete lobby near Alanya during midday monsoon season. A reed house structure stands at eye level within the industrial space. Dried golden reeds form the walls, their woven texture visible against the cool gray concrete ribs overhead. Low-hanging clouds diffuse the sun, creating soft shadows that fall across the floor. Moisture settles at the base of the concrete wall, leaving a small patch of green moss beside the reed foundation. The organic fibers of the dwelling rest directly against the rigid, heavy architectural ribs. A sharp edge of shadow marks the boundary where the woven reeds meet the smooth concrete surface.
