Red Cabbage Veins Glowing Turquoise Kaolack

Vivid violet layers of a red cabbage cross-section rest against a wall of peeling turquoise paint. Thin, pale green veins stretch across the purple flesh, backlit by warm string lights that make the tissue appear translucent like stained glass. The paint surface shows deep cracks and rough texture, against the smooth, wet sheen of the vegetable slices. Predawn darkness surrounds the immediate area, leaving the background in soft shadow while the string lights cast a golden halo around the edges. Shallow depth of field blurs the distant wall, keeping focus sharp on the intricate cellular patterns. A faint reflection of the light bounces off a droplet on the cabbage edge.
