Water Droplet Trails on Waxy Cabbage Leaf

Pale green cabbage leaves rest against rough, lichen-speckled bark, their waxy surfaces catching soft, indirect light. Clear water trails meander across the leaf veins, forming irregular beads that catch the ambient glow from pale walls. The cool season air leaves the leaf texture crisp and taut, while the lichen adds patches of dusty gray and muted orange to the background. Shadows remain soft and diffuse, avoiding harsh edges. Tiny droplets rest on the leaf margins, their spherical shapes distorting the light slightly before the final bead rolls slowly down the slope of a vein. The composition isolates these natural forms against the textured bark.
