A vibrant arc of violet, indigo, and orange bridges the gap between two towering storm clouds hovering over the flat expanse near Kuşadası. Midday sunlight pierces through the heavy gray mass, illuminating the water below with intense, tropical brightness. Low ground fog pools in the shallow depressions of the dry landscape, softening the horizon line where the earth meets the sky. The lake surface remains calm, reflecting the stark contrast between the dark storm cells and the brilliant rainbow. Dark soil textures emerge from the mist, at the base of the ethereal light in the rugged terrain. A faint green strip of vegetation rests on the far bank, separating the water from the gathering clouds.
