The shell's surface gleams with a polished, wet sheen, reflecting soft light that falls through sheer curtains. Monsoon moisture saturates the scene, turning the shell into a collection of tiny, clear lenses. The linen's tight weave creates a grid of shadows and highlights beneath the creature. Each raindrop holds a distorted reflection of the pale dawn sky, while the shell's warm, earthy tones contrast with the cool, gray-blue light. One droplet rests on the lowest ridge, suspended just before gravity takes hold.
