Rain streaks against the glass panes, blurring the grey Glasgow sky outside while casting wet reflections on the marble baseboards. Attendees wear late summer coats in muted blues and greys, standing with restrained posture along the wall. Shoulders hunch slightly as hands grip folders tightly. One raindrop slides down the glass pane near the portrait's frame, tracing a clear path through the dust motes suspended in the sunbeams.
